Inclusion of Canada as a Restricted Jurisdiction

 Trading FAQs    |      2021-07-01

Dear Valued Users,

Huobi Global has always been dedicated to offering digital asset trading services for users while following all applicable laws. To comply with the laws of Canada, we will have to include Canada as a restricted jurisdiction.

The User Agreement had earlier been updated to include Canada as a restricted jurisdiction and we had temporarily ceased intake of users with Canadian KYC or a Canadian IP address. As of 2021-06-29 at 00:00 (UTC), the inclusion of Canada as a restricted jurisdiction has been confirmed and we will be closing the accounts of all Canada-based users on December 31, 2021. Access to our services by Canada-based users will also be gradually phased out prior to December 31, 2021.

All Canada-based users should take immediate action to close out all active positions and withdraw all digital assets before December 31, 2021.

Regrettably, Huobi Global can no longer provide services for Canada-based users. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support!

If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service ([email protected]).
